Welcome to Endovascular Today's Buyer's Guide. This project is the result of our collaboration with both physicians and industry to provide a novel look at the various devices currently used in endovascular procedures. Our purpose is to assist our readers in selecting the ideal devices for the treatment of their patients. Every attempt has been made to obtain comprehensive product information for all available devices, regardless of sponsorship by the manufacturer.
The guide is divided into two main sections. In the first half, Procedural Recommendations, leading endovascular specialists have provided their recommendations for the types of equipment they most often use to perform particular procedures. Some of these specialists have also provided their technique recommendations, so that you may benefit from the lessons they have learned from their extensive experience.
The guide also contains a complete listing of the endovascular devices available at the time of publication, and these can be found under the Device Charts section. The endovascular device market is very fluid; devices are constantly being updated, and 2006 is guaranteed to bring the launch of many products that were not approved at the time of publication. For this reason and for your convenience, we have posted these product charts on this site, where they can be viewed by readers and adjusted by our staff if necessary. We hope you contact us with any device updates or recommendations you have for information that should be included in next year's Buyer's Guide. We rely upon your candid feedback in order to serve you best.
We are very grateful to the physician contributors who took time to provide us with their procedural recommendations, to the device manufacturers who provided their product information, and to our industry sponsors who made this project possible. We have greatly enjoyed working with all of you.
Regards,
Craig McChesney
